Should I choose the MGA40 or MGA60?
Choose the MGA40 for trailer trains up to 4,000 kg and the MGA60 for loads up to 6,000 kg. Route gradient, trailer quantity and rolling resistance must also be considered.
Can the MGA40/60 operate on ramps?
The standard towing ratings are intended for firm, level surfaces. Ramp operation requires a separate calculation covering gradient, train weight, traction and braking performance.
Which trailers are compatible?
The trailer must use a compatible coupling and have a drawbar height matching one of the available coupling positions. Trailer brakes and turning geometry should be checked before operation.
How much turning space is required?
Both models have a 1,650 mm truck turning radius. The complete route must also accommodate trailer off-tracking, train length, corners and pedestrian separation.
