Product Details

High-capacity Electric Handling

The MK45/50 range extends MiMA electric counterbalance capability to the five-tonne class. It is developed for heavy loads traditionally handled by internal-combustion forklifts.

Heavy-duty Four-wheel Construction

A robust chassis, solid tyres and wide fork carriage support heavy industrial handling. The counterbalanced layout can accommodate palletised goods and non-standard loads without support arms.

80V Electric Power System

The 80V AC system supplies controlled travel and hydraulic performance under heavier duty cycles. Lead-acid and lithium battery capacities can be selected according to operating hours and charging arrangements.

Mast and Load Control

Duplex, duplex full-free and triplex full-free masts cover lift heights up to 6,000 mm. Wide fork adjustment helps match larger pallets, while optional attachments extend the truck’s load-handling capability.

Operator and Service Features

The seated workstation, wide-view mast and hydraulic controls support precise operation. OPS monitoring, lighting, braking functions and accessible service areas support daily operation and maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about MK45 / MK50. For application-specific advice, contact MiMA Australia.

Q1: Why is the MK50 capacity listed as 4,999 kg?
The current technical specification rates the MK50 at 4,999 kg at a 500 mm load centre. It is commercially positioned within the five-tonne forklift class.
Q2: Can the MK45/50 work outdoors?
The solid-tyre chassis can support indoor and suitable outdoor work. Surface condition, gradient, water exposure and required ground clearance must be reviewed.
Q3: Can it handle loads with a centre beyond 500 mm?
Yes, but available capacity will decrease as the load centre increases. Load dimensions and centre of gravity must be provided for calculation.
Q4: What attachments can be fitted?
Options may include side shift, fork positioner, clamps, rotators and specialised forks. Attachment weight and forward centre of gravity affect residual capacity.
Q5: Which battery is appropriate for intensive operation?
Lead-acid options extend up to 630Ah for the MK45 and 700Ah for the MK50. Lithium options up to 600Ah are available for flexible charging and reduced routine battery maintenance.
