Electric Pallet Stacker

1.5-2.0T Stand-on Electric Reach Stacker MFA15/20

MFA15/20 is a stand-on electric reach stacker for 1,500 and 2,000 kg loads. Its mast-reach mechanism moves 570 or 685 mm forwards to place pallets beyond the support legs. Electric steering, a folding platform and mast options up to 5.5 metres support efficient transport and stacking in space-restricted indoor warehouse applications.

Ideal For

  • Indoor pallet transport and racking up to 5.5 metres
  • Closed pallets, low-clearance pallets and racks with restricted support-leg access
  • Repeated medium-distance handling between storage and production areas

Product Details

Forward Reach for Flexible Pallet Handling

The MFA15/20 combines a compact pallet stacker chassis with a forward-moving mast. The MFA15 provides 570 mm reach, while the MFA20 provides 685 mm, allowing pallets to be positioned beyond the support legs.

This arrangement is suitable for closed pallets, low-clearance pallets and racking where conventional stacker support legs cannot move underneath the load.

1.5- and 2.0-Tonne Model Choice

The MFA15 is rated at 1,500 kg, while the MFA20 increases rated capacity to 2,000 kg. Model selection should consider pallet weight, load centre, lift height, mast configuration and any fitted attachment.

Mast Configurations up to 5.5 Metres

Single, duplex and triplex mast configurations cover lift heights from 1,600 to 5,500 mm. The correct mast can be selected according to required lift height, lowered mast clearance and available warehouse headroom.

Actual capacity at height must be confirmed from the applicable residual-capacity chart.

Adjustable Forks and Optional Tilt

Fork outside spread adjusts from 220–710 mm on the MFA15 and 242–732 mm on the MFA20. This supports different pallet and load widths within the specified adjustment range.

Optional fork-carriage tilt provides 3° forward and 5° rearward movement on the MFA15, or 2° forward and 6° rearward movement on the MFA20, helping operators align and stabilise loads during stacking.

Stand-on Control for Repeated Travel

The folding platform supports repeated travel between storage and handling areas. EPS electric steering reduces steering effort, while curve-speed control, a floating drive arrangement and electromagnetic braking support stable travel and controlled stopping.

Battery and Warehouse Layout Planning

A 24V/210Ah lead-acid battery is standard, with a 24V/270Ah option available for longer operating requirements.

The stated aisle dimensions apply to the standard configuration with the platform folded. A full metal platform can add approximately 450 mm to the truck’s overall length, turning radius and aisle requirement. Selected tilt configurations may increase the required aisle by approximately 500 mm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about MFA15 / MFA20. For application-specific advice, contact MiMA Australia.

What is the difference between the MFA15 and MFA20?
The MFA15 has a rated capacity of 1,500 kg and a 570 mm reach distance. The MFA20 handles up to 2,000 kg, provides 685 mm reach and has a wider adjustable fork range. The MFA20 also requires slightly more working aisle space.
How does the MFA15/20 differ from a standard electric pallet stacker?
A standard stacker normally positions the load between or directly above its support legs. The MFA15/20 uses a forward-moving mast, allowing the forks and pallet to extend beyond the support legs for easier access to closed pallets and restricted racking positions.
Can the MFA15/20 handle closed pallets?
Yes. The mast-reach mechanism allows the pallet to be lifted beyond the support legs, making the truck suitable for many closed and low-clearance pallets. Pallet dimensions, fork entry openings and load-centre position should still be checked before ordering.
How much aisle width does the MFA15/20 require?
With the folding platform raised, the MFA15 requires approximately 2,690 mm. Depending on pallet orientation and mast configuration, the MFA20 requires approximately 2,790–2,840 mm. Optional platforms, tilt functions and attachments can increase these figures.
Can the truck carry its full rated load at 5.5 metres?
Not necessarily. Rated capacity is stated at a specified load centre and does not automatically apply at maximum lift height. Residual capacity changes with lift height, load centre, mast type and attachment selection. The relevant capacity chart must be checked.
Which battery should be selected?
The standard specification is a 24V/210Ah lead-acid battery. A 24V/270Ah option is available where longer operating periods are required. Selection should consider shift duration, travel distance, lift frequency and available charging time.
Are fork tilt or side-shift functions available?
Optional hydraulic functions depend on the selected mast and fork-carriage configuration. Availability should be confirmed when ordering because attachments can change truck dimensions, aisle requirements and residual capacity.
Is the MFA15/20 suitable for outdoor use or ramps?
The MFA15/20 is primarily designed for indoor operation on firm, level warehouse floors. The specified gradeability is 6% laden and 8% unladen, but pallet stacking and high-level load handling should be carried out on level surfaces.
