Electric Pallet Stacker

1.6-2.0T Counterbalanced Electric Pallet Stacker MBB16/20

MBB16/20 is a counterbalanced electric pallet stacker range for 1,600 and 2,000 kg loads. Without load-wheel support legs beneath the forks, it can handle closed-bottom and double-sided pallets and approach racking or machinery directly. Stand-on operation, electric steering and mast options up to 5.5 metres support flexible indoor stacking and transfer work.

Ideal For

  • Double-sided and closed-bottom pallets
  • Stacking next to racking, walls or production equipment
  • Applications where front support legs obstruct pallet entry

Counterbalanced Stacking Without Baselegs

The MBB16/20 uses a counterbalanced chassis rather than support legs alongside the pallet. This allows the forks to enter closed-bottom, double-sided and other pallet types that are unsuitable for conventional fork-over stackers.

Capacity and Lift Selection

The range covers 1,600 and 2,000 kg rated capacities with lift heights up to 5.5 metres. Actual capacity at height must be confirmed from the selected mast’s load chart.

Stand-on Warehouse Operation

A folding platform supports repeated travel between storage and production areas. Electric steering reduces effort during turning and load positioning.

Stable, Controlled Handling

Floating drive support, corner-speed control, electromagnetic braking and controlled lowering support predictable indoor handling. The larger counterbalanced chassis requires more aisle than a conventional fork-over stacker.

Mast, Battery and Attachment Options

Single, duplex and triplex full-free masts are available. Lithium battery, side shift and other attachments can be specified after checking their effect on capacity and overall dimensions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about MBB16 / MBB20. For application-specific advice, contact MiMA Australia.

Why choose MBB16/20 instead of a standard pallet stacker?
Choose it when support legs would prevent pallet entry or access. Its cantilevered forks can handle a broader range of pallets and approach loads directly.
Which model is more suitable for heavier pallets?
MBB20 provides 2,000 kg rated capacity, compared with 1,600 kg for MBB16. Required residual capacity at the target lift height must also be checked.
Does the counterbalanced design require more aisle space?
Yes. With the platform folded, the specified aisle widths are approximately 2,950 mm for MBB16 and 3,150 mm for MBB20.
Can side shift be fitted?
Side shift may be available, but attachment weight and load-centre changes reduce residual capacity. A revised load chart is required.
Is it a replacement for a counterbalance forklift?
It can replace a conventional forklift in selected indoor stacking applications, but travel speed, ground clearance, wheel type and outdoor capability are different.
