Product Details

Compact Walkie Stacking

The MBC16/20 provides an economical solution for short-distance pallet transport and indoor rack stacking. The walkie layout keeps the truck compact while giving the operator clear access to the tiller controls.

Multiple Mast Configurations

Lift heights from 1.6 to 5.0 metres are available through single, duplex, triplex and triplex full-free mast configurations. Closed and extended mast heights must be matched to the building and racking.

Long Tiller and Side-Mounted Drive Unit

The long tiller increases the distance between the operator and chassis during manoeuvring. Its side-mounted position supports forward visibility and a compact turning envelope.

Controlled Lifting and Lowering

Electromagnetic braking helps prevent uncommanded movement when parked. Low-level lowering deceleration supports gentler fork placement as the load approaches the floor.

Fork and Battery Options

The standard fork outside spread is 680 mm, with a 570 mm version available. Lead-acid and lithium batteries can be selected according to mast, duty cycle and required counterweight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about MBC16 / MBC20. For application-specific advice, contact MiMA Australia.

What is the difference between MBC16 and MBC20?
MBC16 is rated at 1,600 kg and MBC20 at 2,000 kg. Their standard chassis dimensions, aisle requirement and mast range are closely aligned.
Can MBC16/20 handle double-sided pallets?
The standard fork-over arrangement requires compatible pallet openings. A non-standard wide-leg version with forged forks can be evaluated for double-sided pallets.
Does selecting 570 mm fork spread affect capacity?
It can. Depending on model and lift height, a narrower configuration may require load reduction. The approved load chart must be followed.
Does the truck retain full capacity at 5 metres?
No assumption should be made. Residual capacity depends on model, lift height, load centre, fork width, mast and attachments.
Which battery should be used with a triplex mast?
Battery capacity and weight must match the mast configuration. Higher triplex versions generally require the approved 200Ah lithium or corresponding lead-acid configuration.
