3-way Pallet Stacker

0.8T Stand-on Electric 3-way Pallet Stacker MC08

The MiMA MC08 is a compact 0.8-tonne stand-on VNA forklift for light pallet handling in very narrow aisles. Its electric three-way fork stacks to either side without turning the truck, while duplex and triplex full-free masts provide lift heights from 3,000 to 6,000 mm. Mechanical, permanent-magnetic and electromagnetic guidance configurations are available.

Ideal For

  • Light pallet storage in high-density VNA racking
  • Upper-floor warehouses and space-restricted storage areas
  • Guided aisles from 1,500 mm with 1,100 × 1,100 mm pallets

Product Details

Compact Electric VNA Forklift

The MiMA MC08 is a stand-on three-way pallet stacker developed for light-duty, high-density storage. Its compact chassis and relatively low service weight suit restricted warehouse areas. Floor loading and freight-elevator capacity must be checked before operation.

Electric Three-Way Fork

The motor-driven fork rotates and side-shifts to place pallets on either side of the aisle without turning the truck. The 260–760 mm fork spread accommodates different pallet configurations, while proportional control supports accurate positioning.

Guided Aisle Operation

Mechanical guide rail is available for straightforward guided travel. Permanent-magnetic and electromagnetic guidance configurations can also be specified, with automatic aisle-entry functions available according to the selected system.

Controls and Visibility

Full AC drive, electronic power steering and regenerative braking support controlled operation. A fork camera and wheel-position display assist pallet alignment, while height preselection and aisle safety assistance are available as optional equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about MC08. For application-specific advice, contact MiMA Australia.

Q1: What is the difference between MC12 and MC16?
MC12 is rated at 1,200 kg with a 550 mm load centre and reaches up to 9,000 mm. MC16 is rated at 1,600 kg with a 600 mm load centre and reaches up to 10,000 mm.
Q2: What is the minimum aisle width?
For a 1,100 × 1,100 mm pallet, MC12 can operate from 1,500 mm with mechanical guidance or 1,550 mm with magnetic guidance. MC16 requires approximately 1,600 mm or 1,650 mm respectively. Different pallet dimensions require recalculation.
Q3: Can the trucks lift their full rated capacity to maximum height?
At the specified load centre, MC12 retains 1,200 kg up to 5,500 mm and approximately 650 kg at 9,000 mm. MC16 retains 1,600 kg up to 5,000 mm and approximately 600 kg at 10,000 mm.
Q4: How much main-aisle space is required?
MC12 requires approximately 3,700 mm for mechanical or manually entered magnetic guidance and 4,200 mm for automatic magnetic aisle entry. MC16 requires approximately 3,800 mm and 4,300 mm respectively, including the datasheet safety clearance.
Q5: When should a triplex full-free mast be selected?
Select MC12SQ or MC16SQ when the required lift height exceeds 6,000 mm, when a lower closed-mast height is needed or when the truck must operate beneath restricted overhead clearances.
Q6: Which guidance systems are available?
Mechanical guide rail provides physical alignment in dedicated VNA aisles. Permanent-magnetic and electromagnetic guidance options reduce contact with guide rails and may support automatic aisle entry and additional aisle safety functions.
Q7: Are MC12/16 suitable for long operating shifts?
The stand-on layout supports frequent entry and exit during repetitive put-away and retrieval work. For applications involving prolonged uninterrupted travel, the operating cycle and operator requirements should be reviewed against a seated VNA model.
Q8: Which batteries are available?
MC12 uses a 48 V / 390 Ah lead-acid battery as standard, while MC16 uses a 48 V / 480 Ah lead-acid battery. Both ranges can be configured with 48 V / 300 Ah or 400 Ah lithium batteries.
Q9: What information should a dealer confirm before quotation?
Confirm the maximum load, load centre, pallet dimensions, lift height, residual-capacity requirement, rack layout, working and main aisles, floor condition, guidance method, charging arrangement and expected daily throughput.
